another VPS
About 2-3 days ago I purchased a VPS for one-month use. About yesterday, I managed to fully configure it. Installed Lighttpd+openssl+php+etc. (can't remember) and finished cuztomizing some scripts for the site use. However, just now I was messing with the user/directory permission control and after entering a few lines of codes, I messed the server's user/directory access list. I tried to reverse the process but somehow everything seems to be frickin fucked-up. I really mean EVERYTHING. Even as Root, I can't access some command such as SU (switch user), and every user in the box cannot log in to their account. Their home directory seems to be fucked-up, eventhough the permission is already granted to the particular user/group. Urgh...I don't know what I've done since I can't remember which directory I'm working at. I just keep cd-ing on the entire directory structure and I must have entered wrong command somewhere on the directory structure. shiTz!!!!!
I have to rebuild the entire OStemplate once again...fuck!
