Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di
Bought a new lens, Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di, for my D60. A nice telephoto lens for cheapskate beginner like me. hehe~..At first I want to buy the Nikon brand but it's quite hard to find them since most of the shops either don't sell them or don't have them in stock. 
..I saw the Nikon AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm lens and quite like it but the price is way too high for my budget.
The Tamron AF70-300mm is equipped with macro function with maximum magnification ratio of 1:2, which is great for close-up shots. With that, I don't have to buy additional macro lens.

The lens comes with a bayonet type hood and has a built in motor for Nikon D compatibility. I'll be using this as my second lens after the standard Nikon lens AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm that comes with the D60 kit.

actually, kerja sikit jua la untuk kumpul dana beli ni..campur wang simpanan + “federal reserve” + freelance earnings = stuffs. that’s why cari yang murah+affordable jua..

hahaha… brapa ko bli d60 th?? aku lama suda mo bli DSLR tapi teda duit… tunggu kerja ja la nnt…!~ anyway pandai juga ko pilih brand… mmg org ckp brand nikon paling best skali kalau camera SLR tp nda tau napa org byk beli canon punya brand…

murah ba sana KL rasanya dari sini..
canon/nikon sama jak..dua2 ni best..cuma aku bli ni sebab aku dah compare ngan canon 1000D (ikut range bajet aku), dan comparison tu lebih memihak d60..kalo ko mau cari brand lain, try compare dlu nikon/canon yg setaraf..pastu baru bli..canon pun not bad jugak ba..

. maybe you could ask this comparison thing in other photography forums. about the pic quality, i think it’s ok. the is price also cheaper than nikon’s 300mm.
i never used other 300mm lens. i’m a newbie too

the best Telephoto lens that i have used on an SLR is the Canon EF 70-200 F/2.8 lens. Best image quality ever.`-`
